Is there any need for SignalRGB to get in conflict with HwInfo? How do I turn this behaviour off?
This is likely due to the Fan Control and System Monitoring features that were previously Pro Only now being available to all users. HWiNFO uses some of the same things that SRGB needs for these features and is probably why you’re getting that message.
I would recommend launching SignalRGB, then navigating to Settings > Monitoring. Disable System Monitoring, then relaunch SignalRGB and HWiNFO. Does that help?
Thanks for the fast reply! I’ve disabled it now, and it works as before ![]()
Why enable such features in the first place (even if they where pro?).
Our feedback from users was that they were looking for these features. Many folks want a “one-stop shop” as much as possible. That said, it can still be disabled for those that want to use other apps too.
We learned a few lessons for sure with the roll out of this one, and are doing our best to improve the experience for folks moving forward. We know it’s not fun to get unexpected issues!
Well, I’m glad the replies on my problems are always taken seriously. Even if I don’t need the Pro features, and that counts for something!
So keep going the way you are going, you’ll have my support!
