Entering UEFI BIOS
You will need to enter your Computer’s UEFI BIOS settings, to access your UEFI (BIOS) the following steps should be performed.
1.) Open Windows Settings
2.) Click on Update & Security
3.) Click on Recovery.
4.) Under the “Advanced startup” section, click the Restart now button.
5.) Click on Troubleshoot
6.) Click on Advanced Options
7.) Click the UEFI Firmware settings options.
8.) Click the Restart button
ASUS Mainboard UEFI BIOS Setting
Look for a setting that says ROG Effects under the Advanced menu option. Click on Onboard LED, then select Disable or All off, and the RGB on your motherboard will shut off with your computer.
Or it may be found in Advanced, Onboard Devices Configuration, LED lighting, set When system is in sleep, hibernate or soft off states, All off.

Under Miscellaneous “LEDs in Sleep, Hibernation, and Soft Off States” set to off.

All BIOS from every vendor from 2009 onwards should include a setting called ErP (Energy-related Products). That setting must be enabled to ensure all power from the PC is never greater than 1W in off states, therefore ensuring all LEDs also turn off. |
