When doing my layouts, my OCD makes me make microadjustments to pretty much everything. I usually use the “Radar” or “Visor” presets to make sure things are landing where I want them to. But it would REALLY be nice if you could “pause” any animations in place so I can make adjustments while still adjusting the paused image in real time.
Another alternative that might be easier would be to perhaps create a preset for calibration - one that uses a static image like a test pattern? Maybe several images? A preset called “Test Pattern” would be pretty self explanatory
