My signal rgb used to start up with windows no problem, all of a sudden it now doesn’t launch with windows? admin is not ticked, I haven’t changed any settings? its just started all of a sudden. All conflicts are turned off so nothing should interfere with it, I physically now have to manual start it up myself and when I do I get the error message service not running? I have tried double checking the start up settings on the app and in windows, I have tried reinstalling and default the settings and nothing!
SignalRGB needs a background service to run — if it gets blocked at startup, you’ll see this error. Try:
- Click Retry when the error appears
- Open Services (Win+R →
services.msc), find SignalRGB, set Startup type to Automatic - If you have antivirus or security software, add your SignalRGB install folder to its exclusions, updates can silently block the service
- If it’s still not working, temporarily disable security software, reinstall SignalRGB, then re-enable it

done all of these, and still not working.
Check Windows Security > Protection history for anything SignalRGB related flagged/quarantined, restore if found
Check Task Manager’s Startup tab, confirm SignalRGB is enabled there too
Try services.msc, find SignalRGB, manually click Start, note any error shown
If it’s not listed there at all, it got unregistered, needs a fresh install with security software off temporarily
