It wont install, I think due to an install failure of the msix app.
I’m seeing errors in the appxdeploymentserver event log:
Started deployment blah blah
followed by
AppX Deployment operation failed for package with error 0x80070490
Running the msix:
error 0x80073CF9.
Deployment Add operation with target volume C: on Package SignalRGB_1.0.2.6_x64__4n6rtbnm9e9y2 from: (SignalRgb.msix) failed with error 0x80070002
I can install other .msix downloads (eg Canva) successfully on this PC.
Might be worth trying to do a clean reinstall, but if that doesn’t do the trick I’d report the bug using the bug icon in the app (upper-right corner) or through this link so that the support team can follow up.
Hi, clean install didn’t work, and I’m unable to open the app to report a bug. That link doesn’t open.
I had a post limit on my first post.
Basically it was working fine for a long time, updating etc, and I noticed recently that it wasn’t loading.
If I manually install a really old version, say 2.3, it works, but not any newer versions.
When trying the latest version, it shows the splash screen when installing, then disappears.
Any other ideas?
My understanding is the recent .53 and .54 versions should have cleared up a lot of install issues but there could be something going on with your instance. We’ll probably need to take a deeper look at logs, and possibly the app installer logs.
Shoot an email to [email protected] and the Support team will follow-up!
An update, I removed the app from the StateRepository-Machine.srd database, and its reinstalled successfully. No idea how it got in a bad state, but nonetheless its all good now.
