A few days ago I bought and added a Vectron smart shunt and its add-on cable that costed close to half of what the shunt did so I can monitor the lifepo4 battery bank that my entire rig is powered by, but I couldn’t get it working.
Can’t say I’ve heard of that issue before and had to look these products up. SignalRGB generally isn’t designed to be doing anything with power banks or battery monitors.
How are they connected to the PC? Do you see them in the Devices page, and if so, can they be disabled? I was looking at the VE.Direct cable and that looks like it might plug into your mobo?
I’m not 100% how these products are designed to work ![]()
Oh, mybad, this can be ignored. I figured out what the problem was, and it wasn’t signal causing me problems like I had first suspected.
I mistakenly thought signal had hijacked the usb adaptor since it showed up in the settings page under devices and was checked off like signal owned it.
Also, you could of tried as much as you wanted to help but never would have had enough info to go on from the start because this post got gutted of the actual issue I was having due to the absurd charters limitation on these posts. Kinda makes the forum really useless being configured like it is.
But Thanks for trying!
Glad to hear you figured it out! I know the character limits can be annoying…will see if there’s something to be done about that. ![]()
I mean I almost get the limit reasoning, but to have it tied to the opening thread as well is bad. It severally handicaps someone ability to provide as much info as would be useful for anyone trying to help, only compounded by the need for it to be approved before the OP could even add to the post in a comment.
