Request: Philips Evnia 6000

Hi! Is it possible to add support for the Philips Evnia 6000 monitor?

Bump! This would be really nice because the native osd “Ambiglow” Feature doesn’t work with HDR-Mode enabled. Furthermore the paid SignalRGB Pro “Game Integrations” can’t be used with this Monitor.

I would be happy to assist in developing native support or a git addon branch. Did a custom lightscript for the QMK Keyboards when they came out a couple of years ago already.

I can’t speak to the Ambiglow, but I would recommend checking out the troubleshooting guide for game integrations found here. 3440 x 1440 monitors are supported, so they should work if the display & game settings are right.

If you’re having trouble, report the bug using the bug icon in the app or through this link so that the support team can follow up.

Thank you for the recommendation,

I think I wasn’t quite clear with my previous post (not a native english speaker).

The Game Integrations correctly capture the picture of the aforementioned Monitor. The Game Integrations do indeed alter the color and intensity of RGB Devices, based on the captured Video.

The game Integrations do not change the color and intensity of the LEDs that are built directly into the Monitor (Ambiglow).

This is not a Bug or fault of the game Integrations, but rather the result of the Monitor not being detected as SignalRGB light/device.

The reason I would like to use the Monitors Ambiglow as a SignalRGB device instead of the built-in Philips feature is that only then will the Monitors LEDs react to Game Integrations screen capture.

Hopefully, this description clarified the motivation and what I want to achieve.

You can submit a device request here, but we don’t have any insight into when support might be added. I apologize that Ambiglow isn’t supported at this time!
