Hi, I have a few parallel LED strips at different heights in my case. When I want to adjust their position/rotate for a particular effect, I have to manually click-drag to reselect them every time I open SignalRGB.
Thus I want to request adding a “group devices” option so that when I select one element of the group, all elements in the same group are auto selected for easy adjustments. (This should be saved to the layout so that the grouping is persisted across restarts)
If you hold Control and click devices in the Layout you can edit multiple devices at the same time. I use this to edit the X/Y position, Width/Height, and Rotation for all my fans at once.
Unfortunately that isn’t persistent, so if I select my related fans, move them, then select a different device, I have to go back and individually reselect all the previous fans if I want to move them again.
A “group devices” feature would group devices permanently, so that selecting the group would select all devices in the group without extra manual clicking. (Similar to the “group” option in Google Slides that allows me to select & deselect multiple images at once)
That makes sense.
