Philips Hue Bridge Detected but Lights Not Responding – Entertainment Area Selection Missing – PhilipsHue.js Error

SignalRGB 2.5.80 detects my standard Philips Hue Bridge, but lights don’t respond. Hue appears in Devices and Layout; other RGB devices work.

PhilipsHue.js is enabled. No Entertainment/Streaming Area dropdown is visible.

Log error: “TypeError: Cannot read property ‘lights’ of undefined.”

Network verified: eero, same /22 subnet, TCP port 80 successful. No Hue Sync conflicts. Tested restarting, saving Entertainment Area, and Override Active Stream.

How can I fix this?

Could you check whether you’ve created an Entertainment Area in the Philips Hue app? A regular Room or Zone isn’t the same thing, and the Entertainment Area needs to be set up separately.

If one already exists, try unlinking the Hue Bridge from SignalRGB and linking it again.

Thanks for the response, yes, I did set up an entertainment area

Could you try unlinking the Hue Bridge from SignalRGB and linking it again? Then fully quit and reopen SignalRGB.

Also, make sure no other device or application is streaming to the same Entertainment Area.
