It keeps crashing after startup takes either 1 minute to 18 minutes, sometimes before it crashes. I don’t know why. On version 2.5.72 and have the addon enabled for the hotfix for NZXT Kraken.
18:49:11.707, the Kraken Elite V2 drops its standard connection (USB\VID_1E71&PID_3012\8DCF94820EB03310).
SignalRGB attempts to remove the endpoint and shuts down the device.
At 18:49:16.700 (five seconds later),device reconnects with a different Product ID (USB\VID_1E71&PID_3011\8DCF94820EB03310).
Upon reconnecting, the product name registers to SignalRGB as BOOTarea, indicating the cooler’s firmware has stalled and entered a bootloader state.
The Kraken’s own firmware is crashing from the LCD data load, “BOOTarea” means it dropped into recovery mode.
Try to open its device settings in SignalRGB and turn off “Enable LCD Control.” Pump ring lighting stays fine, just loses the screen image. If it’s stuck now, do a full power cycle rather than just restarting. Also, make sure NZXT CAM isn’t running alongside SignalRGB, that can make it worse.
So did I just get a crap nzxt kraken or is this something y’all are working on fixing?
