Hi,
I’ve got nanoleaf shapes (that works flawlessly) and multicolor rope light. When I link the ropelight it just turns black like it’s off. It’s shown on the canvas but it just cannot be controlled.
Any ideas how to resolve it?
Also I see that in the device console:
Have you tried the other builds for the plugin? Under the Add-On settings there’s a drop-down to try other branches of the plugin, one of those might resolve the issue.
Ater your post I’ve testeted all branches. Unfortunately the same result:
Do you know if the rope lights fall under the Essentials line of devices? Might be that they aren’t supported 
The folks in the Discord might also know a little more about the Nanoleaf devices.
It’s definitely not on the essential line as I specifically selected it so that it would be supported 
I checked with the plugin devs and confirmed the rope lights is a Matter device, which are not yet supported. The information for the Nanoleaf devices was written prior to the release of Matter.
While the devs are working to bring support for Matter based devices, I don’t have any insight into the timeline.
