MSI X870 and GSkill Ram

I currently have MSIx870 Tomahawk WIFI and updated bios (Dec 2), however the RAM is not being detected, ie everything else syncs except the ram.

  1. Tried uninstalling all MSI center, GSKILL rgb, razer chroma, etc

  2. Ran as Administrator

  3. Restarted PC and signal RGB

  4. Signal rgb does not sync with ram still

Need advice if anyone has gotten their MSI X870 Tomahawk to sync with their RGB or if the issue is with my RAM

*MSI Center can change the RGB of the Gskill

Taking a look at that mobo specifically, looks like there were two BIOS updates after 12/2 (one on 12/26 and another on 1/13 two days ago). Might help to try updating that? Some motherboards have SMBus or I2C settings in BIOS that need to be enabled as well.

If that fails, I’d report the bug using the bug icon in the app (upper-right corner) or through this link so that the support team can follow up and review the logs.
