Monitor won't sleep while SignalRGB is active

Hi,

I am having an issue with SignalRGB, I set my monitor to sleep after 5 minutes to protect my OLED monitor, however it never goes to sleep.

After doing some tests to determine the root cause, I found that while SignalRGB is active, my monitor doesn’t sleep. When I quit SignalRGB, the monitor behaves as expected, turning off as per my Windows settings.

I have RGB enabled for:

  • Motherboard
  • GPU
  • GPU Power Cable (Lian-Li)
  • AIO
  • RAM
  • AIO and Chassis Fans
  • Logitech Mouse and Keyboard (Cabled)
  • HOTAS (Joystick and Throttle for Sims)

Additionally I am also using SignalRGB to control my Hue Lights and NanoLeaf lights in my studio.

I really enjoy the functionality provided by SignalRGB so I would really like to continue using it, however it’s not worth the cost if it will end up damaging my very expensive OLED monitor. I sometimes forget the computer is on and go out for the whole day, so I really need to prioritise monitor health.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers
Ben

Hello @icarus828, our team is plan to add a feature that will make this possible, at the moment, we don’t have any workaround, this happens due SignalRGB is a high-demanding CPU app. Let me know if there’s anything that I could help, have a nice day!

Hello, I have the same issue, started after a windows update and no matter what I do, my oled wont go to sleep if SRGB is running. It has worked fine for the previous 3 months or so.

While troubleshooting, issue is the Nollie argb controller. If I disable that in srgb devices, my screen saver works properly. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this?
