Hi I cannot get the Lian Li TL and TL LCD fans to work independently, could you advise when will this be supported/added or alternative solution?
Cheers
Anyone has experience in this?
Any support person from SingleRGB?
I don’t know if I am thinking of the same issue you have, but it might be because of the controller, as that isn’t supported by Signal as of now (though they are apparently working on it).
Since you have the TL ones, I’m guessing you probably have all your fans connected to the TL controller and the controller to the Motherboard. However, since the controller is the only device directly connected to the motherboard, it sees the controller and everything connected to it as one single device. Right now the only way around that I think is L-Connect, as it can handle the controller, while every other software just does it over the MB, with the controller functioning just as a splitter.
Can we get any feedback from SignalRGB support regarding when Lian Li LCD fans and associated controllers will be available? LAst update was March 2024. “We are working on it.” Any news to share?
Is there still no support for the “TL12028-Controller” firmware version V1.00.62. Or any firmware?
Using TL Series Controller (version 0.62) and TL Series LCD Fans (version 1.6).
This is showing up in Signal RBG as NUVOTON Device (Keyboard) using the Nuvoton_Keyboard_Controller.js
I purhcase a year subscription to SignalRBG at time. These LCD fans are pretty popular now. I’m just hoping for an indication / update of the already promised support.
Thanks.
Agreed. Given the now wide ownership of Lian Li fan/cooling users, call me tinfoil, but at this point I’m all but certain Lian Li has made some sort of behind-the-curtain monetary agreement with Signal to sideline them from implementing compatibility with LL’s latest gens of Lian Li controllers.
There’s just no other reasonable explanation why these still haven’t been implemented in Signal, it’s not like Lian Li started encrypting comms with their controllers or completely changed how they’re interacted with.
I wager LL gave Signal some sort of “carrot” for Signal to hold off implementation, probably monetary plus promising Signal access to LL API for implementation down the road. Why? Lian Li surely doesn’t want their users being able to mix-and-match LL fan generations, e.g. the ludicrous need to buy additional fan controllers going from SL- to TL- generations, which undoubtedly pushes many users down the plank of upgrade swapping out all their SL- fans/controllers/coolers altogether, and many users probably further buying a latest LL AIO CPU cooler vs. using their fans with another brand’s cooler.
If Signal interfaced with these, however, it would likely cut out a chunk users from upgrading to the latest LL TL/LCD/Wireless generation for a single component type, or at least preclude users feeling the need to upgrade everything at once, impacting LL revenue.
LL would also lose a large swathe of free “QA” testing and data collection by a chunk of their users foregoing usage of L-Connect 3 and using Signal instead.

I bought three sets of lian Li fans and discovered their controller was just awful. And I hated the proprietary connector. I ended up splicing the connectors to standard fan and rgb and used a razer controller. Works so much better.
