Lian-Li SL Infinity Controller no longer detected as fan controller

Hi,

I have 2 SL Infinity controllers, both running 3 fans on the first channel. They are connected to a USB2 hub. For the past 1.5 years its been working fine. This past month I’ve been moving my office, so the PC was offline. Now that its running again, I have an issue. One controller does RGB and fan control fine. The other controller does RGB fine, but it is no longer detected as a fan controller. The fans are off (0 rpm). I only have 1 water loop, so I can at least use the PC with 3 of 6 fans. I did unplug/replug some cables to do some cleanup…and SRGB did like 4 version updates. Otherwise, no changes.

Rave Visualizer Demo

Here’s my take on the Rave Visualizer. I created 2 custom components, a layout, and of course some presets. Overall I think it worked as I envisioned. I can certainly nitpick a few things, but considering how much different brand hardware I put in this build, I’m surprised SignalRBG handled it as well as it did. PROPS to the devs! I’ve never installed the Lian Li LConnect software. Its been fine with SRGB alone for 1.5 years now for both RGB & fan control.

Any ideas?

I’ll take the ‘L’ on this one
In my cleanup of the cables, I only reconnected 1 of the 2 SATA power connectors to the controller. Added the 2nd one and it works fine again. I was tipped off by the fact the fans weren’t spinning during POST neither. It had nothing to do with Windows/USB/SignalRGB.
