HI! I’m using the MSI MAG PANO included hub for all case fans & MAG A15 cooler, connected to a single MB header. Tutorials show “CHANNELS” to control fans individually, but I only see “ARGB” and can’t select them. The lighting doesn’t flow in order; it jumps and lights up many LEDs at once randomly. That’s likely a case hub, sometimes you can change the mode by holding down a button on the controller. It varies though from case to case.
I’d try plugging a fan in directly to the ARGB header of the mobo and testing. If that seems to work, you will probably need to explore a different dedicated RGB controller such as a Nollie16 or similar.
