Is my canvas upside down?

So, watching the “Rain” effect on my pc monitor, the rain falls from the top to the bottom. As it should. However, inside of my PC case, it appears to be going from the bottom to the top. It’s easy to see with the ram. The effect very clearly goes up the ram and not down. Am I missing something here?

Try rotating the RAM 180 degrees on the Layout. Sounds like the RAM is positioned incorrectly in the Layout tab, and should be a quick fix.

Yes, I can do that. But that’s not the point. The layout of my board is virtually the same as every other board out there. When in a tower case, the ram is to the right of the cpu, correct? This means that EVERY instance of SRGB that’s installed starts with the ram “upside down”, doesn’t it? Why not change the code so that it starts the correct direction? (Should be fairly simple, right?) Or am I missing something? Am I not correct in thinking the ram is upside down from the start in all installs?

Depends on the model of mobo and RAM.

Yes, of course it does. But the vast majority of them all have the same basic layout. There will always be exceptions. And you neglected to answer the basic question. In that configuration, are the LEDs starting the wrong way around? Or, am I doing something wrong? That’s what I’m trying to figure out.

I’m saying it depends on your board and your RAM, some combinations may result in the RAM showing as “upside down” in the default generated layout. Happened to mine. You’re not doing anything wrong, it just happens sometimes.

It’s quickly fixable by rotating the RAM in the layout 180 degrees.
