I recently ordered an EVO XL case with all new fans and have been using corsair for the longest time and wanted to switch them out. I have been looking for a controller to use them with the new ones. I saw a Nollie16 or 32 and came across Airgoo 16-Port Signal RGB Controller and I am wondering if anyone has any experience with it as it seems to be very similar to the other.
The Nollie controllers are better as they are molex powered and can handle more LEDs per channel / maximum capacity for LEDs. The airgoos are a direct copy , with downgraded power delivery (SATA powered instead)
I actually just put one in today. I have 8 LED Fans (24 leds per)and a strip (60 leds). Plugged everything in, started Signal. Boom done. Still playing around with Signal now that I have individual fan control.
I actually went with a Nollie 16 and just waiting for it to coming in. Hoping it is going to be awesome!
I use a Nollie16 in my build and it’s been perfect. Hope you have a similar experience!
I just put one in my PC. I chose the Airgoo 16 Channel because it was the only one that listed up to 256 LED’s per channel. I run an 8 x 32 LED matrix off of one channel.
Also, if anyone is interested, I just 3D printed a holder that fits the controller and provides support for all of the cables plugged into it to keep them from falling out.
