Had to uninstall the app due to being woken up

I’ve now been woken up TWICE at around 3 AM by SignalRGB suddenly blasting audio at full volume. As far as I can tell, it’s coming from your in-app advertisements.

I understand that the free version needs advertising to generate revenue. I have no issue with that. What I do have an issue with is ads playing without any user interaction, at full volume, in the middle of the night. That is completely unacceptable.

Sounds like something might have brought SRGB into focus. The ads auto-play with the settings defaulting to NitroPlayer, so if that’s unmuted or defaulting to sound and something brings SRGB into focus while you’re away, you could have something like this happen.

Other than muting the ad player, you can also mute SignalRGB from the system tray. There’s no audible notifications you’d miss, and that’d help ensure you don’t hear pesky ads at unwanted times.

Hope that helps!!

I may have figured out part of what triggered it. I had an audio visualizer effect selected (the one that reacts to sound), but it was paused because I didn’t want the RGB effects running. If the visualizer being loaded or paused is enough to keep SignalRGB in a state where autoplay ads can fire, that still seems like a bug. A paused effect shouldn’t result in the application playing loud audio in the middle of the night.
