I have a govee ledstirp behind my desk but most of the time it doesnt work with SignalRGB, i have LAN control turned on but 99% of the time i try too enable it on signalRGB it has some kind of war with the ledstrip where it flashes a default colour and the signalRGB effect
Try switching your Govee addon to the dev branch for new LED controls:
- Go to the Add-ons page in SignalRGB
- Change the Govee branch to “Gui-Dev-BOMDIA” and restart
This enables Dreamview per-LED mode for manual LED assignment. Note: if your device still shows fewer zones than the Govee app that’s a limitation on Govee’s side and not something we can override.
I tried, it turns into an unknown govee controller and when i try too add leds it doesnt do anything ![]()
Sorry to hear about that. I’d suggest sending us a bug report through the bug icon found on the upper right corner of the app so we can look into it at a deeper level with your logs.
I have a Govee H61B2, which is very similar to what you have. These light ropes are from the earliest generation of LAN controlled lights from Govee and it shows. they werer working fine with an API that I requested from Govee five years ago and were reliable for almost three years.
Unfortunately I noticed that the LAN control was becoming unstable roughly about two years ago. The lights were mostly superceded by newer models with cameras and the latest generation includes Matter intergration for the first time.
It’s likely there’s been some firmware level drift in how the LAN API responds, not just a software conflict. Closing GoveeDesktop and switching addon branches may still help some, but I can’t promise a full fix here since older gen devices like yours may just have degraded LAN reliability that Govee itself isn’t patching anymore.
