Govee Lightstrip works only as 1 LED

Hi, does anybody got a solution to fix this? I use a Govee H61E6. Thats The 5m COB.

Its working fine with the govee app, LAN control is on and i can change colors inside Signal RGB. It also reacts to all the scenes, i use inside the PC. But the whole strip is detected as 1 LED.
To clarify, if i try to color the LEDs manually, no reaction to LED 2-xxxxx, but all LEDs changes to the color, according to LED1

The support only answered 1 time and told me to change the Govee’s plugin branch to "GOVEE-COMPONENT“.
Its still the same issue.

I also tried a few govee.js files and tried to modify them, but cant bring it wo work.

i have the same problem, have couple device from govee, and everything are discover as 1 LED. is there maybe any chance to fix this?

they did something last year and the govee has not worked great ever since my 2 rear lights only get seen as one my front has 2 units with 3 leds in but it only gets seen as 1 the only one that seems to work is the strip light,it is a shame as this all worked ok early last year.
i have h61a0,h7061,h6056, i have posted before but no response :frowning:

Same issue here got the govee floor lamp especially for the signalrgb. Only to find out it works as one led, its a shame!!

This is an unfortunate side effect of how Govee manufactures and configures their devices.

Then why do my Gaming Lights behind my monitor work at addressing each light individually? Would make sense if all Govee products worked the same way.

My understanding is how they get grouped and “zoned”, some devices are made per-LED while others are grouped together. I’m not sure why Govee does it the way they do
