Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE Fan Control?

I am already using SignalRGB to control the LEDs on my Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE, and its working fine. :+1: But will SignalRGB Pro also be able to control its fans (listed by Gigabyte as “Smart Fan 5“)? Under Cooling in the App it only lists my GPU as compatible:
We’ve detected a compatible fan controller.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

Gigabyte motherboards aren’t currently supported for fan control unfortunately. This is due to how it communicates with the fans, but the team is aware and actively working towards a fix. Apologies as I don’t have insight on when the team cracks the code, but it’ll come in the form of an update when available!

I tried looking into it myself, its a mess. My mainboard needs AppCenter/SIV to work, but the 5070Ti needs GigabyteControlCenter. Both Apps have a different horrible undocumented XML format that is not compatible. The Apps write it to the BIOS, but it does t seem to check which format the BIOS needs (SIV/GCC). So the new GCC simply destroys the BIOS Fan Data of my old MoBo. So no Fan Control from windows for me anymore. At least the BIOS has a good Fan Curve editor.:vulcan_salute:

Btw, i can provide you with working SmartFan5/SIV XML profile files for X570 generation MoBos. Or broken GCC XML files for X870 MoBos… :see_no_evil_monkey:
