Generic FPS preset/effect

Hi SRGB team and everyone,

It would be nice to have a generic preset/effect for different game styles like FPS, RPG, MOBA, etc…

For example, a FPS game would have the entire keyboard in blue (or whatever) and WASD, spacebar, LCtrl, LShift, A, E, etc in white (or whatever color you want).

At least having the possibility to do this kind of customization

Or, did I missed something ?

Thanks a lot !

You’ll still need to adjust the layout to match your layout. SignalRGB doesn’t auto-map keys, but you can paint individual LEDs although this will override other effects. If you want an effect to launch with a game (e.g. RGBarz for a rhythm game), Pro lets you set this up with Macros. The effect will swap automatically, though you’ll still need to fine-tune your layout for the best look.

I am aware that I can launch an effect whith a Macro when a game starts and this is why it’s a feature request

A static effect with basic FPS keyboard key mapping with RGB LEDs. For those who don’t have their favorite game in ‘game integrations’ section

Individual LED markings could be a workaround, but the markings would remain present whether the game is launched or not.

SignalRGB doesn’t do per-key mapping unless you paint each LED. To set up FPS games, you’d need to pick or create an effect and build an “FPS Layout” for it. For example, apply Camo Fade, adjust your keyboard, mouse, etc. to match, then save that layout. Before launching a game, start the effect and load the layout. If you want this automated, this feature exists by using Macros with a Pro subscription.

Hope that helps clarify!

Hi, sorry for the delay…

I see what you mean, thank you.

I took a quick look to Lightscripting with the “Canva” and I struggled with HTML (I’m not that kind of developper ^^’).

Anyway, I think I’ll purchase a Pro subscription soon.
