As the title says, every time I try create a macro and try to edit it, the whole program freezes.
It’s a fresh Windows 11 install, I’ve tried reinstalling signalrgb and changing the render engine hoping it would help but as soon as I press the pencil icon, it locks up.
The issue seems to have been fixed by the last update, which was a few days ago, or it fixed itself when I imported my old .reg file with just the macro.
On a side note, should changing the render API kill the program? Every time I changed it, it just died and did not restart.
It did the same every time when I deleted my test macro when testing the 4 render API options. Closed completely without restarting.
Switching the renderer does require a full restart of SignalRGB to apply the change, but it should relaunch automatically rather than just dying. The fact that it closed completely without restarting is not expected behaviour and is worth noting.
Same with the macro deletion causing a crash. Both of those are worth submitting through the bug icon in the upper right corner of the app, as they’re separate issues from the original freeze and the team would want to know about them.
