Fan Rgb Stopped Resonding

All of a sudden one of my 140mm Corsair SP RGB Elite fans has stopped responding to RGB control and is stuck showing “white” leds. I have x7 of these fans on my PC (6x intake connected to 1 Corsair lighting node core and 1x exhaust connected to a seperate Corsair lighting node core). The x1 exhaust fan is the 1 giving me the issue.
I have not changed anything before this happened but have now tried reseting the fan and lighting node with no luck.
Even when i disable the fan it will not change the RGB.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Im leaning towards calling it a faulty lighting node but want to see if there is any other ideas before i tear into my system.

I have just switched the plug from the fan that is playing up to a port on the other lighting node and the fan rgb worked correctly, so from that I think i will be calling it a faulty lighting node.
