I was wondering if there’s a way to change the placement and size of LEDs inside a device?
Resizing for example an Generic ARGB Fan device always keeps this weird rectangular aspect ratio (the LEDs in the fan are equidistantly spaced around a circle IRL).
I need this.
Some stuff is easy, like a straight China Infinity ARGB GPU Sag Bracket, M.2, LEDs in a straight line, try a few numbers, position, resize, done.
But even though the Jungle Leopard V2 are supported, the way all the LEDs light up is not quite correct, if i could change it myself that would be great.
With visuals going downwards, with bottom fans flat mounted, not upright, in essence 1 LED height, i want the whole fan to change all at once.
If i could reposition them on the same layer, i could do that.
There are tools such as:
for generic ARGB products. The component goes into documents\whirlwindfx\components and then restart signal.
For the 2nd link download the publish zip in releases, unzip it and run the exe
Nice, i think the github Nollie thing is exactly what i want and probably understand the best too.
Just downloaded it, going to screw aroiund with it.
Thanks !
Hello,
I tried the Component Editor and saved the file in documents\whirlwindfx\components but i can’t find it in Signal.
No, they don’t show up there. Had to put it in a SignRGB folder.
C:\Users(YOURUSERNAME)\AppData\Local\VortxEngine\app-2.5.0(LATESTVERSION)\Signal-x64\Components
Oh oK ! It works, thank you.
But there is an other issue. I have a FANNER 2020 fan and the inner ring leds (9 leds) lights up like the 9 first leds of the outer ring leds (24 leds). Is there a way to fix that or it’s not possible ?
That is the way the fans are unfortunately hard wired, if you are seeing that
Yes that’s what i thought ! Ok it will stay like that.
