Can't uninstall, can't update - wth happened

I have gotten this error message out of the blue today. SignalRGB won’t start.

I uninstalled using Revo uninstaller. Deleted all the folders, deleted all the services and related registry entries.

Still this dialog comes up, when I boot the machine.

Please advise what to do to completely wipe the machine of SignalRGB. I want to switch to OpenRGB. This has been the last straw for SignalRGB. It has been annoying anyways.

Reinstall again now, the latest version (2.5.45) fixed the issue. Had to do with a change that required the most updated Windows runtime versions that aren’t necessarily available to everyone.

Updating should get it fixed, and it recently went live about an hour ago!

any shot settings get backed up to the cloud if you saved a profile on the program? I stupidly hit delete settings when uninstalling

Thanks. But I don’t care to reinstall. I switched to OpenRGB.

I uninstalled SignalRBG with revo uninstaller. Deleted all the registry entries. Manually deleted all folders.

Still I have a SignalRGB link in the start menu. And when I click it, SignalRGB launches.

Is there a script I can use or a manual wipe clean guide you can provide to get rid of it for good, without reinstalling Windows?

Thanks!

You can manually disable automatic startup now. Open the program manager, find the “Startup” option, locate the program, set it to stop, and then reinstall the program.

I want it gone for good. Not re-install, fix or anything. Just gone. No trace.

Found a few more covert folders which I removed. Let’s see.

But this software, as good as it’s functionality was, is the biggest bloatware trash I ever had on my machine…

Try using Revo Uninstaller perhaps?

Did that, read above.

So far it seems gone. Manually scanned everything.

Man, this just adds to the bloat. To bad. Nice software, bad concept…

If you used Revo Uninstaller then it is indeed fully uninstalled. Not sure why your Windows instance is keeping it in your Start Menu, sounds like a Windows glitch potentially
