Can SignalRGB preserve my default settings?

Hi everybody. I’m a complete newbie here, so please bear with me.

In my current Windows 11 rig, I currently have no RGB app installed at all. However, these two RGB devices have some nice default RGB effects, which function automatically and without any RGB app:

  • 2 sticks of Corsair Dominator DDR5
  • The pump of my AeroCool Mirage L240 AIO

Here’s a short video: https://youtu.be/_Q3ntzZFkko

I happen to like these simple but nice RGB effects, so I’d like to preserve them. Hence my questions:

  1. If I install SignalRGB, will it be able to detect and preserve these default effects? I have read that RGB management apps (including SignalRGB) tend to mess with that, and sometimes people can’t bring their default effects back, even after uninstall.
  2. Assuming SIgnalRGB does indeed detect and preserve these default effects, is it possible to save them as a given preset, so that I can come back to them anytime?
  3. Still with these default effects, would SignalRGB allow me to just change their luminosity easily? Ideally here’s what I’d like to do:
  • Create a Preset 1 = these default effects, with nothing changed
  • Create a Preset 2 = these default effects, with 50% luminosity
  • Easily switch a given preset on or off (no RGB at all), ideally via a hotkey
  1. If someday I uninstall SignalRGB, will my rig automatically come back to these default effects in the absence of any RGB app, just like now, or will they be lost forever?

I suppose SignalRGB can do all that, but I’d like to be 100% sure before installing it. Thank you.
