In 2.2.27 there was a check for minimum requirement for CPUs added, this check looked for the AVX2 instruction set. It should have been for AVX and not AVX2. if you are on an older system and cannot launch the app try this build of Signal.
Please note that this build is the same as the public release, with the exception of the AVX check.
