Audio Visualizer not functioning

Hello, my Audio Visualizer used to work fine but has 0 function now. I use Voicemeter Banana as a sound interface and have had the RGB coordinate with sound through Voicemeter before. However now, whether I am using Realtek audio or Voicemeter I can’t get anything in SRBG. When I open the Audio setting under “Application” Capture is enabled, and the selected audio device is “Automatic.” Any attempt to change to a specific input results in it being reset to “Automatic” as soon as I leave the page. Any thoughts?

I’d report the bug using the bug icon in the app (upper-right corner) or through this link so that the support team can follow up. This is something the team will likely need to look through the logs to resolve.

Did you get this fixed?
I am having the same issue.

I also use VoiceMeter Potato, and it keeps setting Audio Device to Automatic(Follow System) no matter what device I select in the dropdown.

I’d also file that as a bug, the issue is still under investigation by the QA team.

It’s the same problem, so it’s the same bug. I was just wondering if OP had found a solution, or had some feedback.

More bug reports means more data for the team to help pinpoint what’s going wrong and get a fix out faster. Each report helps, so if you’re having the same bug…send us logs and a bug report please~!

same issue, when i restart my pc the audio capture setting gets set to automatic all the time. first i guessed it doesnt make a save of it but that would be dumb.

Try to update to the latest version of SignalRGB 2.5.71 if you haven’t yet. If you’re already on the latest version, I’d report the bug using the bug icon in the app (upper-right corner) or through this link so that the team can follow up. This is something the team will likely need to look through the logs to resolve.

I am using Voicemeeter Potato.

Did you guys get this to work at all? I am trying to set up the new fluid lcd feature along with an audio reactive lighting theme. I can’t get it to react at all.

I’ve seen issues with programs like Voicemeeter. I would recommend ensuring the correct audio device is selected, and if so, is it saving it? Do other options work?

What about if you completely remove Voicemeeter, does that change the behavior or the audio visualizers?

I was able to get everything else to work just nothing through Voicemeeter the last I tried.

Shortly after posting this i ran into some OS errors and needed to reset my PC. Doing this and reinstalling everything made it work again so I never got an answer, and haven’t had it happen sense. Not sure if maybe Windows had somehow corrupted my sound or when Signal opened first it wouldn’t properly sync with Voicemeeter? If anyone finds an answer would be great to know, but it seems like something inside of Windows.
