Asus ROG STRIX B550F GAMING WIFI II - G-skill TridentZ RGB (With AURA compatible ram) "off-sync issue"

Page - 1

My RAM (working in correlation with AURA compatible) and motherboard is “off-synced” with other RBG components, leading to various conseaquences such as being not as bright or leading other RGB changing colors (tested with White solid color lighting with hue adjustments) and many more.

i tried to troubleshoot or finding similar cases/troubleshooting steps, however issue was not resolved. Here are preset and issues related images. (not in great quality but enough to have an overview about)

Thanks.

Start with the brightness offset, quickest thing to try.

  1. Open SignalRGB, go to Devices
  2. Find your RAM in the list (should show separately from motherboard)
  3. Find a brightness slider on that device, dial down to match motherboard LEDs
  4. Test with plain white, no hue adjustment

If RAM isn’t showing as its own device, that means it’s only getting lighting passed through the motherboard’s AURA header, that’d be a hardware limitation. Let us know which one you’re seeing.
