App forces "Close Conflicting Programs" option on startup

The app is now forcing the option to automatically close conflicting programs. If you disable it and restart Windows, it enables itself again. Once Windows restarts, the app won’t let you in unless you click 'Close Conflicting Programs.

If the setting is correctly configured but SignalRGB is still closing apps despite that, this is a bug introduced in the latest update, and we’d like to escalate it. Could you let us know which version of SignalRGB you’re on and submit a bug report through the bug icon in the upper right corner of the app? That will help the team investigate why the conflict settings aren’t being respected.

I’m on version 2.5.66. I’ve alreadysubmitted a bug report through the app. The only workaround I’ve found is to manually exclude each program I don’t want closed, since the app only gives you two options at startup: ‘Help’ or ‘Close Conflicting Programs.’ I’m assuming that clicking ‘Close Conflicting Programs’ automatically turns the setting back on.

It does. Can you try to update to the latest beta version and see if that works? To do this, go to Settings > Updates then enable the slider next to Enroll in Preview Updates. This is a recently released build with updates so it’s worth checking if the issue gets resolved after updating to it.
