I’ve been with Signal for a bit. Everything was running fine on my PC until about a week ago (after most recent update). When it wakes form sleep the app is stuck in this constant loop of spinning up fans and back to zero. NON STOP. This happened on occasion previously, but it was remedied by a quick restart of the app. Not anymore. So far, the only thing that gets Signal back on track is to reboot the PC and sometimes multiple reboots. Help?
When this happens, is the app stuck in a loop or is it otherwise functioning properly? Would you happen to have an NVidia GPU too? This may sound unrelated, but can you navigate to Settings > Fans and disable the slider for GPU Fan Control?
After disabling that slider, does that do change the behavior you see when the system wakes from sleep?
