I have a MSI Gaming Trio X 3080ti and its syncs up with my signal app alongside my other components, but its fps is 7. Has there been any fixes for this?
Talking to our tech team, there’s a chance this may be expected behavior with some MSI GPUs. Some devices simply communicate slowly for their RGBs based on how they’re designed to communicate information. If you click on your GPU, you can click on the icon in the upper right to view it in the console and look for any errors, but if there’s no errors it’s likely working as expected.
Yeah, thanks! When I use MSI Mystic Light, the fps is fine compared to signalrgb, but I did find this button that says Signal RGB sync. Not sure how this behaves between the two applications. Maybe you have an idea?
I checked with our tech team. That “SignalRGB sync” button lets SignalRGB send data to the MSI app, but it won’t help in this case. MSI Mystic Light gets better FPS because it uses a hardware-based effect, while SignalRGB sends every frame in real time to the device. This seems to be a limitation of how the GPU is designed. Hope that helps explain things, and sorry I don’t have more options for boosting FPS!
