Logs looks ok, have you tried a power cycled already?

Few times… you saw the video how it works.

Any solution? Did you find an issue of this lag led response?

I have the MSI MPG X870E Carbon and I’m experiencing the same issue, where the lighting effects run at only about 1–2 fps, making it usable only for static lighting. I’m not sure if using a third-party program could improve the smoothness — it’s probably a limitation of the MSI Mystic Light SDK library, which I believe SignalRGB also uses.

For those having issues with Lag, make sure you’re on the latest bios.

If you are try a power cycle.

Shut down the PC, turn off the power supply or unplug the PC. Spam or hold the power button to drain the PC of power. After 30 seconds to a minute, turn the power supply back on or plug it back in and boot the PC

Today MSI posted new BIOS.

Maybe it will help? I cant test it now…

I definitely want to try it as soon as possible, it’s the second BIOS release AGESA PI-1.2.0.3e - the previous version had some issues.
Anyway, power cycling doesn’t help, I already tried that.

Hello, I test it with the new Bios update 7E49v1A50 date 2025-06-27
Signal RGB is running, but very slow.

So its not BIOS issue…
Anyone can cofirm if original MSI app can control RGB without lag? Maybe its not Signal issue but MSI itself.

With MSI Mystic light no problems, with bequiet Case RGB , no problems. But with Signal RGB it runs slow or lag like min. Frames.
Have a nice weekend, greatings from Germany

Hey guys, we will investigate this; it’s working fine on our units (X870E Carbon Wifi, Z890 Carbon Wifi, Z790 Edge Wifi).

We are not sure if MSI changed something lately

Hi, I have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers installed, and I’m running a clean installation of Windows 11. I’ve set the motherboard lighting to static for now, but I wanted to add more ARGB fans. I tried the suggestions mentioned here, but it’s still not running smoothly. I’m out of ideas on what else to try.

MB: MPG X870E CARBON WIFI (BIOS version 7E49v1A50 – 2025-06-27)
Chipset driver: AMD 7.06.02.123
OS: Windows 11 with the latest updates

Still no solution? :frowning:

Has anyone managed to get Signal RGB to seamlessly (without hiccups) control the RGB lighting on an MSI x870 Carbon motherboard? It’s incredibly frustrating that it won’t work – so many different Asus boards and no problem, but the MSI won’t cooperate. :frowning:

No, there have already been several SignalRGB updates, but nothing has changed with the RGB on this motherboard.

I checked inspector and all devices has at least 10-15 frames or more (GPU almost 30 for example) but this mother board 1-2 per second. Unusable. I considered premium of SignalRGB but its nonsense at this moment. :frowning:

I also found that removing argb headers devices rise the FPS to 7-8. Adding every argb device takes ~2 FPS.

Hi. I want to say that latest MSI BIOS (E7E49AMSI.1A63) and SignalRB BETA 2.5.12 works good. 15-16 FPS on ARGB headers. Finally.
