Is there or are there plans for a Linux client for Signal RGB? I have been a subscriber for a long time and lately Linux has been making a larger impact in my life. So i will be making the jump to Linux being my primary OS instead of Windows. I would love to have this software to be able to manage all of my RGB needs as most companies are still behind on having a presence on Linux.

Excellent. Can’t wait to run it natively. I spent a lot of time creating a DMX network plugin. Can’t wait to have every RGB colored light in my house run haha.

I’ve been hearing this from various manufacturers for years. Unfortunately, without a concrete timeline or at least an approximate time horizon, this is nothing more than a put-off. Maybe you should cancel your subscription and use OpenRGB. I don’t know if we’re talking months or years here.

I heard some rumors that a lot of progress has been made but it’s not quite ready to leave the oven yet (so to speak).
We’re definitely aiming for “sooner rather than later” and not a “Blizzard Studios SoonTM”!

This is actually great news. Since I moved to Linux last year, the RGB integration is somewhat lackluster when compared. I know… I know.. 1st world problem but let me have this one 🙂
Make a lot of noise when SignalinuxRGB is ready 😃 … wether you release on AUR, DEB or even flatpak … i’ll go get it 🙂

We can’t comment on development timelines, but it’s something being worked on as the team has the resources for it. As a small team, there’s only so much we can work on at a given time.

Regardless of the timeline, it’s awesome that you’re working on this.
I dual boot between WIN11 and CachyOS.
It’s cool to see the screengrab in Ubuntu, but please also make your packages available for other distributions, as well, not just debian based distros.
If you check distrowatch website you’ll see the current rankings of Hits Per Day (HPD) by distro. CachyOS (Arch based) has been #1 on the list for more than a year now.
I purchased my subscription for my Window’s install, but I live in CachyOS nowadays.

Registered just to tell you that I’m another recent Linux convert waiting for a SignalRGB port. OpenRGB seems like a mess.
I’m running EndeavourOS which is also Arch based so I want to echo the other poster who encouraged you to make an official package on the repo.
Thanks for your hard work, hope to go back to Signal soon.

Any news? I think we’re all starting to realize that this is just talking about Linux. You don’t expect an ETA that is 100% accurate, of course something can always change. But without a rifle you can roughly find out when it will be expected instead of saying after 3 years it will come soon!
