# Can't install effects

Everytime i try to download an effect it says couldn’t install effect. idk how to fix this issue

Same problem here. Even if i change the directory in settings. It keeps saying documents/WhirlwindFX and won’t change

I get “Couldn’t install effect - effect”

Effect is whatever i tried to install under “free”.  
Was going to get pro but the free stuff does not work.

yeah so i have pro. Does’nt work either. It says indeed ‘can’t install effect, directory doesnt exist’  
The i try to change the directory, but it won’t change.

I have this issue too. Free version. click on ‘install’ for a free effect and it says ‘installing’ but then doesn’t. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling signalrgb but that made no difference.

Update: Fixed this by creating a new user account with a different email address and then logging into that from the signalrgb app. So looks like there was some sort of weird corruption with the initial account.
