I tried to follow the youtube tutorial but it seems that the app shown there looks a bit different than the one I installed from the official website. Mainly, under motherbord device, I have 3 chanells detected, but it seems I can’t add any device to any of the chanells or modify the chanells at all - add/remove.
Uninstalled all other RGB apps and it shows there are no confilcts on my MB.
What I’m doing wrong or what I’m missing?
Are you able to click on the sub device? Looks like it’s showing the different controllers within the mobo. I’d try to cl,ick on that 5v ARGB Header 1 on the right and see if that expands into anything.
I click on them and nothing happens, nothing expands. In FAQ I read that 5v output on MSI is not addressable via the app, is this connected to the problem somehow?
Also on reddit they say they had similar issues with their MSI MBs and the app, and Noile 16 RGB controller fixed it. Not sure if I won’t have to buy similar one.
Yeah - if the mobo’s RGB controller is working well, a separate dedicated one like a Nollie is a good path. That’s what I use myself, a Nollie16, so that I can get as many addressable headers as possible for the most control and best performance.
